Disney releases first full trailer : Disney has officially released the first full trailer for its highly anticipated live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch. This extended trailer gives fans a heartwarming look at the beloved story, now reimagined with stunning visuals and a new take on classic characters.
The film follows Lilo, a young girl alone in Hawaii who dreams of finding her best friend. One fateful night, he sees a comet crossing the sky and makes a heartfelt wish. The next day, he encounters a strange blue creature: Stitch, an alien experiment designed to cause chaos, but disguised as a dog. As their bond grows, the two embark on an unforgettable adventure,
where ohana means family in Hawaiian, and as Lilo reminds us, family means no one is left behind or forgotten. Like in the original 2002 animated classic, Lilo is raised by her teenage sister Nani after losing her parents. The new trailer highlights their close bond as they try to control Stitch’s mischievous nature. In one scene, Nani sternly tells Lilo: “It’s your responsibility. Got it?”, to which Lilo responds enthusiastically: “We promise!”.
Chris Sanders reprises his role as the voice of Stitch in this live-action film directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, alongside Maia Kealoha as Lilo. The cast also includes Zach Galifianakis, Sydney Agudong, Billy Magnussen and Courtney B. Vance.
