Let’s punt tonight.” Spotify X was quick to respond, tagging Karthi along with a series of hourglass emojis, further fueling speculation about the imminent release.
Karthi continued the hype by posting a screenshot to his Instagram story, captioning it: “You guys push my n-a.” When a fan commented, “Bro, we get it, yo, release the album already,” Carthy simply responded with “fasho.” He later shared another screenshot of what a fan called “I Am Music*” “the most anticipated in music history,” suggesting that the wait was worth it, “[and] the replay [value] is at 10.”
While an exact release date has not been confirmed, the album is currently available for pre-order on Carthy’s website for $9.99. If I Am Music is coming soon, that credit goes partly to popular streamer Kai Senat. In an interview on the Grammy red carpet, Senat called out Karthi and said that the project could not be released in 2025. “This has to drop. Karthi has to drop. I know Karthi will watch this. Karthi, just drop! I’m on national TV. Drop, gang,” he demanded.
Karthi later reposted the clip to his Instagram story, agreeing with Senat’s words with high praise. “The most genuine video I’ve seen in 2025… BX Yal 1 with Kai is here.” “This video could be the one that does it,” he wrote.
